Welcome to new found hardship

So by now we all know Bruce Jenner is no more.. Caitlyn has sprung and she is confident and strong and beautiful.

 The cover for Vanity Fair is absolutely amazing it sheds light on something so many people struggle with... being their true selves. Whether this is a gender association issue or a sexuality thing or even not being comfortable with yourself we've understood some sort of hardship or trouble... but here's the thing.
Caitlyn emerged and all anyone is talking about is ... her appearance ? seriously...
She goes through an extremely changing and difficult part of her life and we're analyzing her breasts and wrinkles and general appearance, not to be blunt but are you fucking kidding me ?
She looks great but more than that she is stronger than most people out there, myself included.

[In case you missed it Jon Stewart had a thing or two to say about this]
People will always have negative things to say but that's because they are rude and mean spirited and immature. truth. some people will never understand what it takes.

I applaud Caitlyn she has shown such strength and has given others encouragement to be their own selves.
I hope she continues empowering others the same way Laverne Cox has.

However please note that Caitlyn's transgender coming out is far from the norm. The statistics for transgender people are devastating.

Nouveau Look.

Alright so i haven't written anything recently because i realized  there was very little in fashion i recently  felt passionate for but then i realized that shouldn't affect whether i write or not.

So with a little of determination i rebranded the SOF logo last night. I've come to realize that fashion isn't just about clothes; in fact the definition of fashion as per the New Oxford American Dictionary is:

     It's alot to take in but what i think the most important and notable thing for me is this is no longer a blog specifically devoted to the fashion industry , it's devoted to the fashion. The way things currently are, the fashion of today, the fashion of tomorrow and the fashion of yesterday. This is a blog about the way things currently are for me. It's my opinion on whats out there: clothing, books,music,art etc...

woah.
so what have i discovered.
i have discovered i drink alot of coffee.
and i've been drinking ALOT of water which i hear is good or you.

but i have discovered i love alternative hip hop.
like i LOVE it.
i have discovered i love closing my eyes and feeling music.

i dont need to know the words, i just need to close my eyes and move.
its quite liberating. just have to try and do it somewhat harmoniously with the music.

i also wish i was more tanned.
i hate doing my hair.

and i'm going to try wearing more blue eye shadow this summer. seems summery on tan skin.

i also love beads. the tribal kind that are all brightly coloured.

so i'm expecting to make me some friendship bracelets. ahah

aquatic summer.

beds and foliage, hiding on rooftops behind trees. 

being free.

studs and things like that. 

boys.

dont wear clothes and save the planet.

at the end of the day still dont wear clothes and just breathe.

ps. i've been having trouble breathing lately.

i fins myself alone.

so today is a saturday slash sunday.
my stomach hurts, i can't sleep because i don't feel like it.
i want things too chage. i want fun. i want life. i want you.
those nights where you find yourself breathing thoughtfully with half open eyes. with thoughts hidden behind cares.

i was happier then. dancing on tables,bars, not giving a fuck, that's how it should be: not giving a fuck.

so i am in a lot of pain. i was at the school today for what seemed like ever and my feet hurt.

8hrs late and i finally make it home only to do more homework. i need sleep.
i need to do my fitting.
i need to write an article.
go to fabricland and shoppers.
and do some fucking spec sheets.

i'm tired my feet hurt . but something cheered me up tonight. sex. not me having it, but the idea of sex and the city. and well i guess sex in general ? it is a topic people frequently like to discuss.
anyways ye sex its something people like.

so ever since i came home i've hated it, my parents argue and yell at each other, the whole house is on edge.
by the whole house i mean the three of us, my brother ran away. i wouldn't mind joining him.
i don't want to live here anymore i'm so sick of having to listen to them.
why aren't they smart enough to think. : Divorce or if they feel like caring: Marriage Therapy.

i feel like a little girl trapped in tower, knowing theres a war downstairs, not belonging to either side and not really being able to do anything about it.
it's almost sickening.
it is sickening.
however whenever they argue i run, i run to leave this house and sweat it out and focus on something else.
let me put this in perspective for you.

i've gone running 5-6 times a week for 5 weeks.

this place is not home.

this fairy tale has not yet proven to have a happy ending.
