Born near Paris in 1943 to a modest family, he spent his childhood in Le Havre with his mother and four brothers. For his seventeenth birthday, his stepfather brought him his first Eastman Kodak camera. Demarchelier learned how to develop film, retouch negatives and began shooting friends and weddings.

In 1975, he left Paris for New York to follow his girlfriend. He discovered fashion photography by working as a freelance photographer and learning and working with photographers such as Henri Cartier-Bresson, Terry King, and Jacque Guilbert. His work drew the attention of famous clientele.

He later worked for Vogue and Harper's Bazaar, first in September 1992 which resulted in a 12-year collaboration. 

Demarchelier has lived in New York City since 1975. He is married to Mia and they have twins. Since the late 1970s he has shot the covers for nearly every major fashion magazine.

    

He is an incredible photographer that knows how to shoot the human body.... if you ask me thats his specialty

He was born in NewYorkCity and was raised in Hollywood, California.

His photography is Raw Sexual and gives off an Amateur feel however it is anything but amateur.

he has a way of digging to the deepest essence of the subject and bringing it through in his shots.

However although he is an amazing Photographer he is considered a sort of Predator

alright so lately i've been thinking of all the wonderful things i need and want.
you know how it is.

well recently i have encountered this problem far too many times, especially since i bought the most amazing pair of jeans and after wearing them like twice they're so loose i'm constantly pulling them up. (Belts)

so i have been watching Downtown girls and i've seen a few episodes and its pretty okay.

My favourite character is Victoria the funny brunette who does what she wants.

the reason why i currently remain unsure of the show is because it seems like a cheap mock up of Sex & the City... which lets get real can never be recreated.

but nevertheless its decent.

however the main character needs a makeover.. dont remember her name ut she needs an injection of femininity and a splash of makeup remover. she's pretty she just over does it.. and grow out the bangs.

well first of all i am very sorry if this seems rushed because indeed it is. i have approx 5 min to do this post while i eat my lunch.

so today i was thinking [as most days i do] and well one of the most important things in fashion[my opinion of course] is fabric and embellishments.

clothing wise not outfit wise.

i think that a great piece of clothing really only is great because of the fabric.

think about it : a t-shirt is cut in silk and it is cut in some old cotton, which is nicer? 

the fabric is what sells you. its what attracts you. to me fabric is the selling point if i don't like the fabric i don't like the article of clothing its just that simple.

       i personally think that this relates directly with what i am writing : do you ever notice that moms always touch clothing in such a way that both layers are rubbing between their fingers or that before a woman leaves a store she always feels the need to touch as she leaves. 

its fabric its what draws us in. and i personally -as of right now- think that it is one of if not the most important element of a garment.

i think i'm going to boycott makeup. i have been wearing it forever and well it's annoying having to apply it.

i love it and i love the idea of art and creation, but lately its gotten generic.

Okay. so University is just around the corner.
Many challenges that teenagers like myself is staying in touch with those that we love right now, our friends. we deem them important to who we are because they've watched us grow. They have seen us overcome things whether it be with drugs or whatever or just fear; being scared to do something and overcoming that fear.
well Here's the thing after High school is done sad to say but there are so many people that i won't keep in touch with and the sad part i don't care. well ok maybe i care... but it's more like oh shit that sucks kind of care not so much of a i might cry my eyes out kind of care.
I keep wondering to myself why am i so cold?
and the answer is : i have no idea, but it could be that change is on the horizon.
   Over the past year i have changed alot , maybe for the better or maybe not .
but its undeniable. I've started turning into who i think/ and am pretty sure/ i want to be and well thats okay right because i realize that this person i want to be has to do with what i want to be and who i'll need to be later on.
I won't always be able to be who you want me to be.
& thats what i think is new and different. people always expect you to be someone specific and as soon as you change they dont know what do with the change because they aren't use to it.

So listen carefully to the next words i am about to write they're true and unemotional (sorry)   :
     in life chage is inevitable. you get skinny, fat, ugly, pretty, hairy bloated, bitchy, kind, depressed etc.
it happens.
nothing in life is ever the same.
accept change and move on. you can't dwell on the past cause it won't get you anywhere.
sure you can look to the past and admire it and love it and talk about loving it but that's where it ends. you can't live your life in what has already happened, because you will never move forward. you need to accept it as best as you can and continue because life, and 'm sure some will argue it, is in the future.

So: accept what has happened, embrace what is happening & look forward to what is going to happen.

so i watched the SEPTEMBER ISSUE. the doc with Anna Wintour and well the september issue.
it was good really good like iam about to watch it for the second time because i enjoyed it so much the first time.
it gives one alot to think about.
i guess i thought that there was more beauty behind the scenes but there isn't .
like her companion Grace Coddington who seems to get shafted or her gorgeous pictures get thrown under the bus.... just a little.
i understand the cut throat side but some just look to good to pass up.
and like once they are deleted they are literally gone. i guess thats what made it so scary.
Anyways the Documentary;even though it felt like a movie, and i didnot use proper punctuation-muahah.
